Rachel Subchyshyn

B.A., M.Ed. Certified Canadian Counsellor #6810. (she/her)

Rachel has been a counsellor at PPC since 2002.  She has received training in Solution Focused and Narrative Therapy approaches.  More recently, her training has centred on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with foundational training based on Gordon Neufeld’s Neuro-developmental Model.  These approaches, coupled with Level 1 and Level 2 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) training provide Rachel with a well rounded understanding of human development and the potential for emotional growth at all ages.

Rachel largely works with adults on an individual basis, though she is also comfortable working with adolescents and couples as well.
