Serving Saskatoon and area for over 40 years, our practice is built on the belief that mental health is essential to overall well-being. Since 1980, we’ve helped individuals grow, heal, and build resilience — always with integrity and care.
Originally founded by Opal Cameron and led by Dennis Coates, PPC has called the historic Bottomley House home since 2005. In 2013, Dennis welcomed therapists Danielle McFadyen and Denise Byblow, who attended graduate school together and quickly became close colleagues and friends.
In September 2024, Danielle and Denise purchased the practice from Dennis and celebrated his well-earned retirement. Today, PPC is rooted in its rich history and long-standing reputation for providing exceptional mental health services. Now as PPC Therapy Group, Danielle and Denise are proud to uphold that legacy while continuing to grow, evolve, and meet the changing needs of our community.
Our philosophy is rooted in respect for each person’s unique experience, and we strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued.
At PPC Therapy Group, we are committed to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and building therapeutic relationships grounded in integrity and care.

We provide support for:
Individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, addiction and a wide range of mental health disorders
Stress and anger management, sexuality, gender orientation and various life transitions
Relationship and family patterns that contribute to conflict, disconnection, unhealthy interactions and abuse
Children (5+) and youth experiencing behavioural or emotional challenges, symptoms of ADHD and/or other mental health diagnoses
Each member of our team brings not only advanced training and education but also a compassionate, client-centered mindset that helps foster trust and healing.
Out team draws from a wide range of therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of our clients. These include, but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
We tailor our approach to align with the individual’s goals, strengths, and preferences.
All our team includes mental health professionals with master’s and doctoral-level education in psychology, counselling and social work. Every member maintains good standing with their regulatory body.
Our counsellors all engage in professional development and continuing education in congruence with the requirements of their regulatory body, ensuring our methods reflect current best practice.
Every counselling session is designed to help you understand your life story — not just what’s gone wrong, but what can go right. Through guided reflection, emotional awareness, and skill-building, we help you reconnect with yourself, your goals, and your confidence. Our mission is to create a supportive environment that encourages self-discovery and healing at your own pace.
