Yes, PPC Therapy Group offers video sessions through the Jane platform which is compliant with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
New clients can complete the Intake & Telepsychology Consent package before the first visit. PPC Therapy Group also provides New Client Information and (where applicable) a Joint Custody Consent form for children under 15 in joint custody.
Updated paperwork is required after 12 months or if you are changing to a different therapist.
Yes. PPC Therapy Group is located at 1118 College Drive, Saskatoon, at the corner of College Drive and University Drive. Six mid-sized parking stalls are available at the rear of the building (facing west toward University Drive) on a first-come, first-served basis. Access the lot via the alley from Munroe Avenue or Elliott Street. If the lot is full or you have a larger vehicle, two-hour street parking is available on McKinnon Avenue and the west side of University Drive.
Session fees range from $150-$175 for individual sessions and $150-$185 for couple and family sessions. Sessions range from 50-60 minutes depending on the therapist.
No GST or additional taxes apply. If a third party—such as a parent, spouse, or friend—is covering the cost, written authorization is required to release appointment details for clients aged 15 and older.
Yes. PPC Therapy Group offers direct billing to select insurance providers, though not all practitioners are registered with every insurer. If direct billing is unavailable, a receipt will be provided so you can submit it for reimbursement. We recommend confirming coverage and therapist eligibility with your insurer before your appointment.
Direct billing for insurance is available for some providers. Please see administration for more information. Contact less payment through the Jane app or by etransfer to Office@peopleproblems.ca is preferred.
Credit/debit can be processed at reception.
We understand that unexpected situations may arise. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Voicemail is available 24/7 for your convenience. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, may be subject to a Missed Appointment Fee. Advance notice allows us to offer your time slot to another client in need.
Our professional team includes Registered Psychologists, Registered Social Workers, and Certified Canadian Counsellors, with all practitioners having at minimum a masters degree. Please confirm that your therapist’s credentials meet your insurance provider’s requirements before your session, as PPC Therapy Group and its therapists cannot be responsible for denied insurance claims.
For clients under 15 with shared parental custody, both parents must sign a Joint Custody Consent Form before counselling begins. This form is available on our website under Resources (or link to download). A parental meeting is also scheduled prior to the child’s first session.
