Andrea Halstead

Andrea approaches each person she meets with genuine compassion, curiosity, and unconditional positive regard. She strives to create a warm, safe space where clients can reflect on their experiences, explore their strengths, and deepen their understanding of themselves. Andrea believes everyone holds the potential for growth and is honoured to collaborate with clients on their journeys toward meaningful change.

Her practice is grounded in person-centred, solution-focused, and narrative approaches. With a background in education and dispute resolution, Andrea enjoys working with adolescents (ages 12+), individuals, and couples. She is nearing completion of her Master of Counselling degree and anticipates being eligible for Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) status in early 2026.

Outside the counselling setting, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, watching her boys play sports, exploring thrift stores, and reading good books.

Current hourly rate: $125 / $155 in March & going forward
