Cindy Pellerin

M.Ed. Registered Psychologist #492. (she/her)

Cindy has been supporting adults, teens, children, and families since 1995. Over the years, she has seen how identifying strengths and values can spark resilience and create hope, even in difficult times.

Cindy’s counselling style is flexible and draws from a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Solution-Focused Therapy. No matter the approach, she strives to bring acceptance, authenticity, humour, and accountability into her work.

Clients often describe Cindy as gentle and empathetic, while also respectfully direct and proactive. She sees challenges as opportunities for growth and learning—not only for ourselves, but also for the people around us.

When working with children and youth, Cindy emphasizes collaboration with parents, as she believes therapy is most effective as a team effort. At times, she may meet with parents separately to explore parenting strategies.

To keep therapy safe and supportive, Cindy does not take part in court or custody matters, nor does she work with families seeking therapy for legal purposes. Cindy also asks that both parents are informed about and provide consent for their child’s therapy.
