Ryan Dielschneider

M.C., B.A. Canadian Certified Counsellor #8002. (he/him)

As a clinical counsellor, Ryan strives to combine a gentle, person-centered style with actively teaching you evidence-based strategies in every session. His hope is that he can provide you with a safe, casual time and space to process your thoughts and feelings while also connecting you with research-supported ideas and techniques from psychology that will be practically helpful in managing your symptoms or improving your life between sessions. Ryan’s clients usually tell him that he’s generally easy-going, nonjudgmental, and humorous*, but he can switch and quickly become serious, intellectual, and educational when needed.

Outside of counselling, Ryan loves dogs, being in nature, trying new foods, playing video games, watching drag performances, listening to true crime podcasts, and reading.

*Note: Open to playful humour in the counselling space, but not necessarily a funny comedian myself!

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity … Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness.”
